Travelling by car
Coming from Salzburg, take the A10 motorway to Graz/Villach and the B311 towards Bischofshofen/Pongau and then the Gastein main road to Bad Gastein. The Straubinger Grand Hotel is located directly on Straubinger Platz and next to the Gastein waterfall, in the centre of the town. Parking is available for a fee in the nearby APCOA car park. Travelling by bus or train
Relax and get in, play games or read books. Start your holiday in an environmentally friendly and comfortable way. ICE/IC trains run regularly from Salzburg to Bad Gastein railway station. There are also some connections from Germany that take you directly to your holiday resort without changing trains in Salzburg. Bad Gastein train station is approx. 700 metres from the Straubinger Grand Hotel . On a 10-minute walk through the town centre, you can get your first impressions of your holiday resort from here. Alternatively, the local bus line 555 will take you comfortably to the hotel.
