Whether by car via ferry or auto train, by train, or by plane, your holiday at A-ROSA Sylt begins as soon as you start your journey. When traveling over the Hindenburg Causeway on the auto train, you can relax and watch the Wadden Sea pass by. If you arrive by ferry, you will land directly in List and reach our A-ROSA in just a few minutes.

Bicycles are available for rent at the resort for a fee. City bikes are available for €15, and e-bikes for €30 per day.

Should I follow a dress code or is there a clothing recommendation?

Depending on the time of day and personal comfort – from casual to elegant. We kindly ask gentlemen to wear long trousers in our restaurants.

Is there an electric vehicle charging station at the A-ROSA Hotel on Sylt?

You will find a charging station for your electric vehicle in the underground garage. For use, please contact our valet service on-site.

Are dogs allowed at the A-ROSA Hotel on Sylt?

You are welcome to bring your dog to the hotel for an additional fee and with prior arrangement. The fee is €45 per day per dog, excluding food. Please understand that your dog is not allowed in the restaurants or the SPA-ROSA and must be kept on a leash outside the room and on the hotel grounds. Additionally, dogs are only welcome in selected rooms and with prior registration. The island of Sylt offers 17 designated dog-friendly beaches along the west coast. Our staff on-site will be happy to assist you with any questions.

What payment methods are accepted at the A-ROSA Hotel on Sylt?

You can pay with us in cash, in advance, by EC card, or with one of the following credit cards: American Express, Mastercard, or VISA.

Is childcare offered at the A-ROSA Hotel on Sylt?

The ROSINIS is open five days a week for eight hours each day (depending on the travel period and number of children. Exact times and closing days can be inquired at the hotel).

Children can have lunch in ROSINIS from 12:30 to 13:00 for €4 per child (reservation required by 11:00).

The times for the children's dinner may vary and can be inquired at the hotel. Our staff at ROSINIS will also be happy to arrange a babysitter for you (upon request and subject to availability, for an additional fee starting at €15 per hour).

In our "Dukes" Teens Lounge, there is space for our teenage guests to enjoy activities like billiards or table tennis. No supervision is provided here.

What does the half-board include at the A-ROSA Hotel on Sylt?

The half-board includes a hearty breakfast and dinner served as a buffet in our Dünenrestaurant.

Are parking spaces available at the A-ROSA Hotel on Sylt?

Our hotel guests have access to a sufficient number of parking spaces. We are happy to reserve a space for you in our underground garage for a fee of €20 per day per car, or you can park in our outdoor parking lot for €15 per day per car. With your coded room key, you have access to the parking spaces at any time. You will also find a charging station for your electric vehicle in the underground garage. Is it possible to play golf near the A-ROSA Hotel on Sylt?

In the nearby area, you will find four golf courses with a total of 72 holes. The A-ROSA Sylt is partnered with the Marine Golf Club Sylt.

Is smoking allowed at the A-ROSA Hotel on Sylt, or is there a designated smoking area?

Health as optimal well-being is an essential part of the A-ROSA philosophy. The consumption of nicotine in all its forms is only permitted in the designated smoking lounge and its associated smoking lounge terrace. All other areas of the resort are smoke-free. This also includes the balconies of the rooms and suites, as well as the Dune Terrace.

What do the beaches on Sylt offer? Are there beach chairs available for rent?

Whether you're seeking peace and quiet, a family outing, a fan of naturism, or a dog owner – Sylt has the perfect beach for everyone. The west side offers a total of 40 km of fine sandy beaches. In List and Hörnum, shallow beaches on the Wadden Sea side invite you to swim and soak up the sun, ideal for families with young children. The most beautiful beaches in List are located on the west side, surrounded by pristine dune landscapes.

Beach chairs can be rented directly on the beach or through the local tourist office. Please note that during certain times, the number of beach chairs may be limited. Early reservation is recommended.

How is the A-ROSA Hotel on Sylt / the island equipped for disabled guests?

Our hotel is equipped with a spacious, disability-friendly family room. Of course, you can easily reach our restaurants and the accessible restroom in the basement via the elevator. Additionally, the island towns of Sylt have steadily improved their offerings for travelers with disabilities in recent years, such as the acquisition of beach wheelchairs and wheelchair-accessible beach paths. Detailed information is available from our reception staff.

What should be considered when using mobile phones on the island of Sylt and at the A-ROSA Hotel?

Please note that the use of mobile phones and laptops is not permitted in the entire SPA area or in the restaurants. Due to the proximity to Denmark, there is a possibility that your phone may temporarily connect to the Danish network. To avoid higher costs for incoming or outgoing calls or messages, please change your network settings from automatic to manual selection and choose your network provider.

Where do the ferries depart from and what ferry services are offered?

In direct proximity to the resort is the ferry terminal to Denmark (Rømø). For information on departure times and ticket sales, please contact our staff at the reception.

Regularly, the Adler ships depart to the Halligen as well as to Amrum and Nordstrand. On clear days, you can spot the neighboring islands Föhr and Amrum from the harbor.

What can be viewed at the A-ROSA art and culture?

In our public areas, we offer contemporary artists the opportunity to present their works in an exclusive atmosphere. If you particularly like an exhibit, you can purchase it for your own home. The current exhibition flyer is available at our reception on-site.

What is the pool area like at the A-ROSA Hotel on Sylt?

Our heated pool area, with temperatures between 28-30°C, features both indoor and outdoor pools, offering you space for relaxation and activity. The pool has a depth of 1.35 meters, is 8 meters wide, and is 31 meters long, with 20 meters indoors and 11 meters outdoors. In addition, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the dune landscape and the sea from our mezzanine. At our Vital Bar, we are happy to treat you to fresh juices and culinary delights based on the A-ROSA nutrition concept.

Where is the spa card / the paid tourist tax valid?

Each guest receives a spa card, which allows access to not only the services within their vacation destination but also the beaches of all other island communities. Please carry your spa card with you at all times so you can identify yourself and take advantage of various offers and discounts. In case of loss, we reserve the right to charge you a deposit fee of €10.
