In winter, Lake Tegernsee reveals its particularly peaceful and atmospheric side. But winter sports are also on the cards: the A-ROSA Tegernsee is just a 15-minute-drive from the valley station of the Sutten chairlift and is also well connected by bus. And after a day on the slopes, you can look forward to some relaxing hours in our A-ROSA wellness area. This means you can enjoy the cold months at Lake Tegernsee to the full.

Gulbransson Museum.
The Olaf Gulbransson Museum in Tegernsee is dedicated to the famous cartoonist and artist Olaf Gulbransson, who lived and worked at Lake Tegernsee for many years. As well as his works, you can look forward to changing exhibitions featuring modern and contemporary art, just a few minutes’ walk from the A-ROSA Tegernsee.

Tegernsee Lake Festival.
The Tegernsee Lake Festival is one of three annual lake festivals organised by the municipalities of Bad Wiessee, Rottach-Egern and Tegernsee. During the festival, the main street around the town hall square is transformed into a lively meeting place with a varied programme, regional delicacies and, of course, a fireworks display to round off the festivities.

Monte Mare.
During your stay at A-ROSA Tegernsee, as well as our own spacious spa area, you can also visit Monte Mare Tegernsee for a fee. The Monte Mare lakeside sauna in Tegernsee is situated right by the water and is within walking distance of A-ROSA Tegernsee.
Swimming in Lake Tegernsee.
The water temperature in Lake Tegernsee is around 3 degrees in winter and reaches up to 22 degrees in summer. Particularly in July and August, the lake regularly warms to over 20 degrees, offering ideal conditions for relaxing days spent swimming. So swimming in Lake Tegernsee is not only possible, but highly recommended.
Monte Mare Tegernsee Lido
Just a few minutes from the A-ROSA Tegernsee and adjacent to the Monte Mare lakeside sauna is a public lido with outdoor dining and parasol and sun lounger hire. It’s a wonderful spot for a swim in Lake Tegernsee.
Rottach-Egern Lake and Warm Baths
Here you can choose between direct access to the lake or one of the various pools, equipped with a water slide, play equipment for children and an unbeatable view of Lake Tegernsee. From the A-ROSA Tegernsee, you can reach these swimming spots in just a few minutes by bus or car.
Point Leisure Centre
Situated just outside Tegernsee, yet easily accessible by bus or on foot, this beach on Lake Tegernsee boasts fine sand, a beach volleyball court, a children’s playground and a kiosk.
Ringsee Lake and Beach
With its large sunbathing lawn, beach volleyball court, table tennis table and children’s playground, the Ringsee Lake and Beach is the perfect spot for relaxing summer days on Lake Tegernsee. Thanks to its gently sloping shore, the lido is particularly suitable for families, whilst the Ringsee beach hut provides a lovely spot for a break right by the water. Dogs are also allowed here.
