Is cycling on Sylt recommended in autumn?
Absolutely, the island's network of cycle paths, which is over 200 kilometres long, is much emptier in autumn. However, as the wind on the North Sea can pick up strongly at this time of year, we recommend renting an e-bike from the local hire shop in List - especially for longer tours towards Ellenbogen or Westerland.
